Google Chrome is now available for download and many users have already started using it. Google provides Chrome as an online installer, means you have to connect to the internet until installation is finished.
If you are unable to download it due to online installer or any other reason, here is the answer. You may download Google Chrome Offline Standalone Installer from Google Server, Its only 9.15 MB.
So, whats the benefit?
You don’t need to have internet connection every time you want to install Google Chrome.
Download once, save it to your software repository and use this installer whenever you need to install Chrome. You may also give this installer to someone who want to use this browser but not allowed to download executable files.
EDIT: (December 12, 2008)
Google released final version of Chrome, its no longer in Beta. You can download offline installer of this final release straight from the above links. Previously these links were broken but now I have fixed them & working fine.

Google chrome looks neat. The browsing experience is also fairly good. But there are some bugs in the browser. I have written about a few of them. Please take a look here.

Thanks for writing here.
Munir: I would say, just recap the history and you will find your answer.
Google have remarkable achievement in the past & I don’t think they will fail here too.
Wasi: Its my pleasure.
Bishal: As we know that Chrome is released as a beta which means its not complete, only released to test it by the vast audience. Its certain that it has many bugs, flaws & vulnerabilities. Would you count any software that has no such holes? We have to wait till its final release!

It is always a best choice to get a standalone installer if you have to install on multiple PCs or you want to install it on PC that does not have internet connectivity.
Thanks for your visit and comment. Hope you will come back to get next Chrome’s version.
